1968 1750 GTV Mk1

This simply stunning 1968 1750 GTV Mk1 was the subject of a several year restoration, started by Gran Turismo Engineering and finished by ourselves when GTE closed their doors. The bodyshell was media-blasted before all welding & panel replacement was carried out by the well-respected Alfa body specialist John Holden, before being painted in 2k Alfa Rosso by Impact Bodyshop (classic Porsche specialists) the engine was rebuilt by Andy Cattani at Classic And Race, and the car was assembled by us. It has had every component either rebuilt, refurbished, replated, or replaced. A few sympathetic upgrades include a Classic Alfa handling kit, Koni dampers, a 123 electronic ignition distributor, 14″ GTA alloys + 185/70 tyres, and a Sports exhaust system. The interior has had the (lovely, unique ‘batwing’ Mk1 1750) seats retrimmed in the correct covers, a new headlining, new carpets, door cards and dash veneers. It has also had copious amounts of Dynamat & Dynaliner applied making it a very relaxed tourer. It really wants for nothing.

The owner has covered less than 1000 miles in the 15 months since its restoration was completed, but feels that classic car ownership is not for him.
